Delete temporary folders manually

1. Close Visual Studio and all JetBrains .NET tools.
2. Delete these folders. They hold only caches, temporary files, and logs, which are created again when they are needed:
   • %LocalAppData%\JetBrains\Transient
   • %Temp%\JetBrains
   • %Temp%\JetLogs

Do not delete other JetBrains folders, because they can contain settings and installed products.

Clean up temporary files from ReSharper

1. In Visual Studio, select ReSharper | Options from the main menu, or press Alt+R O.
2. Go to Environment | Disk Cleanup.
3. Click Clean Up All to delete only outdated files, or Delete All to delete all files in the listed locations.
