Can I enter License Key/License Server URL via Command Line when installing ReSharper?

I would absolutely love to be able to do this. This way I can run the install via Chocolatey.

Please help us SCCM administrators by providing a way to set licensing settings via command line.  Thanks.

Could be integrated into MSI as well. For example (a hint for developers) as Properties: PRODUCT_CODE=Full (or VCsharp or VBNET), LICENSE_KEY=1234567890123456789, LICENSE_TYPE=Single(or Server or whatever), LICENSE_SERVER=None(or 123.123.123.123 or mylicenseserver.mysite.com), LICENSE_SERVER_PORT=[whateverPortNumber] ...

Because I as well would love the possibility to enter the license key during installation (preferably as a parameter to the MSI, so I can create a MST for this to install via GPO).

This is seriously lacking. This feature is a must-have for any SCCM and Local administrators when they want to manage more than 100 computers with this plugin. Please look into!!

Still haven't heard about it being possible now though.
And this is a serious issue, generating a lot of extra work for me; not being able to insert the (updated) license key into the installation, but instead having to enter it manually...

They really need to look into it. As a side-note, you should look into adding your licenses in their floating license server, that way you only need to update the server and not the computers. The computers point to the server.

Yes, but only once. You don't need to change the license every year when you renew.

I believe the license information is found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JetBrains\Shared\vAny
Why can't it be in HKLM instead... the same way we can now do a "all users" installation.

This is total crap to be honest.  Enterprise tools that lack this simple functionality for management are not enterprise ready tools.  When is this going to be fixed?  I consider it a bug.

@Eric, have you considered using a JetBrains License Server in Enterprise environment you are talking about? It is the only way to activate ReSharper automatically without any end user interaction:

1. Download and install JB License Server  https://www.jetbrains.com/help/license_server/downloading.html
2. Register installed server and upload licenses to the server https://www.jetbrains.com/help/license_server/manage_licenses.html
3. Configure "Automatic Server Discovery" feature https://www.jetbrains.com/help/license_server/configure_automatic_server_discovery.html 
4. Since the default option on License Information dialog in ReSharper is to use automatically detected license server, ReSharper will be activated when a user runs Visual Studio with ReSharper. 

License Server is exactly what you need to get "Enterprise ready" ReSharper.

Please provide command line method. As I am automating the process of developer box setup, I have written scripts to install JetBrains IDE through brew cask. It will be good if Registration could be also done through command line interface.

is there any update on this from 2 years ago?  We are a small commercial development team < 50 licences,  but the management of this is a real headache

With a majority of users now working remote, the DHCP based Automatic Server Discovery is no longer a scalable implementation. Can you please allow the application suite to either release Group Policy, MDM, or a local configuration file?
