How to execute an offline activation

After downlading the Activation Code, I got to the License information dialog box in ReSharper but I could not figure out how to enter the Activate Code.  I Googled

This page was the third hit.  I was very helpful.  Now my license seems to be entered for offline use.

Not working for me! I downloaded the offline license, a text file, and opened Visual Studio, added the license...and still says "Invalid License"

@Rylege Please, could you run Visual Studio with the following command line: 'devenv /ReSharper.LogFile C:\log\resharper_log.txt /ReSharper.LogLevel Verbose'. Then open the result file in a notepad and look for "FIPS" text. If you find FIPS related exception, please follow this article https://resharper-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206546499-ReSharper-does-not-work-when-FIPS-enabled to overcome the issue.

I got the Invalid License today following the steps in the Resharper Invitation Email.   Hmm guy you need to "eat your own dog food" and test these thing out more

I tried all of this to no avail. Luckily I also have a CodeRush license. DevExpress much less complicated than JetBrains. I am recommending CodeRush to my Developer community and all my associates now.

Just renewed my license and there is no "Download activation code for offline usage" link. It was there after last year renewal but is gone now. Proxy servers prevent me from logging in to Jetbrains account to use online activation.

Are JetBrains resources just blocked on the proxy servers? 

While am able to configure proxy to check for updates with 'Use secure connection' set to off, trying to login to Jetbrains account throws SignatureException.

For which reason you cannot activate ReSharper on your machine, is there some error?

The link “Download activation code for offline usage” is not available. Previously I used it to activate my account. Now this link desn’t exist.
I’m developing in a offline environment at the University, so I cannot activate it.

I am a student with educational license, so I cannot download anymore an offline license.

However I would like to use the products that my license is valid for offline without downloading a license.

I understand now that as a student there is NO WAY to work with your products offline - since authentication with user and password is not possible since we're offline.

Why is that? I would like to use ReSharper for myself alone in an offline computer.

Is there any way for a student to work and authenticate offline with your products?
