How to fix error "This site can’t provide a secure connection" when trying to log in to JetBrains account
Symptoms
The "This site can’t provide a secure connection"/"The connection for this site is not secure"/ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR error occurs when trying to log in using a JetBrains Account in (Extensions) | ReSharper | Help | License Information | Use JB Account:
Workaround:
- open “chrome://net-internals/#hsts” in Chrome ("edge://net-internals/#hsts" in Microsoft Edge);
- delete “localhost” from the domain security policies list;
- try to activate ReSharper once again.
