This option is enabled. I also disabled and activated it again.I will check if another extension is causing problems here...Edit:I set my configuration back do factory default and now it is working...

If you will upgrade to Visual Studio 2012 you will find a built in "Close All Documents" entry. :)

Do you use the Productivity Power Tools Extension? It has a feature called "Automatic Brace Completion". Perhaps this is what inserts your braces... Or any other extension with some equal function ...
