Am using R# 2151. Can reproduce this behavior consistently every time in VS2010.

In VB.NET I got so used to typing Ctrl-E-L and then my live-templace-name, I didn't know you could just type the name of the live template now and press tab and it inserts it. This used to work in ...

Do I need to enable some option in R# to have "specify type" show up? (I wouldn't think so since I am not using any proprietary classes but figured I'd ask)

That's too bad about large files. I think the MAJOR performance problems start much earlier than you specified. I amseeing them starting maybe around 10K LOC, not 30K LOC. Most of our files are > 1...
