Olga, I've reverted to 1264 and I can now see the list of items in the clipboard ring, but cannot paste them.

Thanks Dmitry. I am lacking the documentation in Resharper that appears in the VS tool tips. This is why I turn off the Resharper completion.Sean

I know what you mean, Resharper is a top class tool, no doubt about it. However, $600 would price me out of the picture.... & I would be sad!!!

Thanks Dmitry, I will take a look at that. If Java Doc is less intrusive, I would, of course, use it were it integrated into my refactoring browser :)
