I think this is a limitation in this case. The quick fix is not smart enough to know what you really wanted.group.Columns.Select(c=>c.Fields.Count).Max() is what you need.

You can always extend Resharper with an addin to create a more powerfull macro wich fit your needs.Thats all what I can say.

Is there some way to do this for preprocessor conditions too?We used #if !DEBUG and somebody removed code wich was called inside such a region which produced a compile error in release mode.
