Find Code Issues - Need Some Clarification

Hi.

I use "Find Code Issues" to find localizable strings in our project. For this I changed the project propertie to Localizable Inspector to Pessimistic (to find all possible strings - is there an option ti change it for all properties?) and run a "Find Code Issues" on the project. My issues are also filtered to "Element is localizable".
What I get now is an empty list...

If I open some files of the project in the editor and refresh the code issue window the errors of the opened file is found. If I close the file it still shows the issue.

So my question is Whats going wrong here?
Is it a bug that I have to open the file or is it intended?

What effect do I get from the other project properties "Language Level" and "Localizable" and does it have effect the "Find Code Issues"?
Whats the real difference between "Optimistic" and "Pessimistic" under the hood.

I have SWA activated and use the latest EAP 5.1.1759.1

EDIT
Ok I cleared the cache and my solution was analysed one again wich took some time of course but now the code issues are all shown.
So I gues after switching the project propeerty "Localizable Inspector" I have to force some rescanning else it will still sue the cached result with the old value untill I open it where it is scanned again.

Best regards,
Sven

Hello Sven,

This looks like a bug to me, however I couldn't reproduce it on my machine.
Could you please attach a small sample solution with screenshots for the
issue filters settings and of the Find Code Issues resulting window? Thank
you!

Hi Andrey,

I have created a new small solution but I could not reproduce it there. It's working as intended I think.

However I still have my large Solution opened where I do localization atm and I do have the issue here.
I have set the project property "Localizable Insppector" to "Pessimistic" and when I do "Find Code Issues" I get the picture of attachment 1.
Then I change the "Localizable Inspector" to "Optimistic" and do a refresh, the picture stays the same. However I open one of the files, say "ActivityService" and do a reload, I get the picture of attachment 2. To get them back I have to do the same step. What I did to get them all was to clear my cache via resharper options.
I have only enabled "Element is localizable"
However I also got 2 exception see attachment.

I will check if I still have the problem when I have restarted Visual Studio tomorow.

What about my questions Andrey?

Best regards,
Sven

Good Morning,

I checked it today once again and same behaviour.
I created a new solution and included a project of m
y bigger solution and everything works fine. No need to open a single file when I change the inspector property and reload the issues the new setting is recognized.

Perhaps my issue is a result of some timing issue with larger project. We have about 5000 files with a lot of resx files. I will try to get some logs perhaps they can give information.

Best regards,
Sven
