Unable to install 79
I have been unable to uninstall build 78 or install 79, i am getting a
"program run as part of the package did not finish as expected" error.
Any help would be appreciated

Daren,
please make sure that the following assemblies are installed into GAC on
your machine:
stdole.dll,
extensibility.dll,
envdte.dll,
office.dll
They are all required for the ReSharper installer to work properly. In fact,
on most systems
these assemblies are installed to GAC by default. The problem is that
currently ReSharper
installer does not install these assemblies to the GAC as it should. So if
some of them are missed in GAC,
install them manually by running 'gacutil.exe /i'.

Could you please try to
run 'Registrar.exe /register' or 'Registrar.exe /uninstall' manually?
Registrar.exe is in the ReSharper installation folder.
Running it should give you a hint why the installer fails (in fact,
Registrar.exe is
a "program run as part of the package...".
