Keyboard Issues w/IME

I have a colleague that cannot use the ctrl+space key combinations since he
has the IME installed for multiple languages. When he types ctrl+space, it
brings up his IME editor for entering Chinese strings, not the Intellisense
of the VS.NET/ReSharper. Is there any way to re-map the key combinations?

Since no one has responded, I'm assuming no one has run into this, which I
find surprising. Can anyone at JetBrains comment on this?
