Question: Can I use ReSharper 1.5 for VS 2003 and build 201 for VS 2005 together?
Hi,
Question: Can I use ReSharper 1.5 for VS 2003 and build 201 for VS 2005
together?
Will they share the same config file and results in various of expected
behaviour?
Thanks,
Tee

Hello Tee,
Yes, you can, but they won't share the same config. Note that currently we have found 2 problems: constants in ReSharper 1.5 get highlighted the same way as in Visual Studio 2005 and if you'll try running VS2003 while ReSharper 2.0 loads a solution in VS2005 the highlighting in ReSharper 1.5 will be broken (this is cured by reinstalling ReSharper 1.5)
Thanks,

Hi Andrew,
This is what I want, but ... I think either this is a bug, or I didn't ask
the question correctly. :(
I was referring to the UserSettings.xml in C:\Documents and
Settings\[Username]\Application Data\JetBrains\ReSharper...
ReSharper 1.5 and 2.0 both use the same settings file... So needless to say,
all the custom added live templates from ReSharper 1.5 are gone...
It happened once this morning when I tried ReSharper 2.0 for VS2003 ...
Luckily I have backup the UserSettings.xml this time after I re-added back
my live templates...

Hello Tee,
Thank you for explanation! This is a bug in ReSharper 2.0 and we will fix it in one of the nearest builds.

Thanks Andrew.
I assume you have added this to the tracker, can you show me the link so I
know if it's fixed so I can try 2.0 again without losing my live templates.
