Missing feature in ReSharper Exception/Assertion Dialog
Very often when i type use resharper i got an Exception or assertion and i want to paste some code in the
"Tell us what you where doing..." Field
But the dialog is modal, so i cant do this. it would be great to have a button
"Continue but this reopen exception in a non modal dialog"
so i can continue working with visual studio to:
- copy some code to the message
- test if the bug is reproducable
- look at my code and think about what im doing exectly when the exception occurs
-
Next Suggestion:
When i post a bug report, i get a messagebox whith the info
"Your post Number #12345 was submittet"
it would be great to have a button here to open my webbrowser and jump directly to the topic in the tracker.
for example to add a screenshot or some additional info
i think these changes would help you to motivate users to post some more detailed error information

Actually I remember a discussion on this particular topic happening quite
long ago. And someone from Re#er Team (don't remember exactly, maybe Valentin)
replied that instead of extending the functionality of the submission form
it's much better to fix bugs causing this window to appear =)
yes and no
a simple checkbox
Open this bug in tracker after submitting
would be enougth, that's not a big change and would be a great help for people who wanna help and post some more comments to bug reports.
i think that better bug reports would save more time than an implementation of this small feature would cost
