The green background is actually due to a bug within Visual Studio, not Resharper. Below is Dmitry's comment on the subject from a previous posting:

To disable Resharper coloring and use VS coloring, open the Resharper Options menu, then under 'Highlighting' deselect the 'Enable Identifier Highlighting' checkbox.
