[223] Cause of 'Ambiguous reference' errors?
I am using V2005 with a website project and a few projects in the solution. In some projects, R# is showing 'ambiguous references' errors but VS 2005 compiles the solution just fine.
I moved from vs2003 to VS2005 and VS2005 wosk differently. The non website projects reside in folders under the website folder and I noticed that under the website project in the solution explorer, these folders are showing too. I wonder if this is causing R# to flag the 'ambiguous references' error?
Do these projects need to be outside the root website folder? In VS2003, I was able to flag these folders as not part of the solution but I don't see the same option in VS 2003. Does VS 2005 compile everything that resides under the website folder automatically regardles if some folders are part of other projects?

Yes, it does. If converting web projects from VS2003 to VS2005 I would
advise to use the "web application project" add-on. It is from the asp.net
group itself, will be officially released soon and will be part of VS2005
SP1. See e.g.

Visual Studio 2005 Web Application Projects (Beta V2 Preview):
http://msdn.microsoft.com/asp.net/reference/infrastructure/wap/
R# support for web application projects is OK.
