[238] Error startup ReSharper add-in Visual Studio .NET 2003
I receive the following error everytime I startup Visual Studio .NET 2003
after the installation of ReSharper EAP Build 238
-
ReSharper

ReSharper cannot add its entries to the Visual Studio menu, because the
latter seems to be not initialized. The most likely reason for this error
is that you are starting Visual Studio for the very first time. Please
disable ReSharper and re-enable it using Add-In Manager in order to fix this
problem.

What I have done so far:
1. Disabled and re-enabled the ReSharper add-in as mentioned in the
messagebox, without luck
2. Uninstalled ReSharper and reinstalled it without luck
3. Uninstalled ReSharper, cleaned registry removing all entries for
JetBrains and ReSharper, reinstalled ReSharper, without luck
Everytime I have made sure that no instances of the Visual Studio .NET 2003
IDE was running. I can't get this to work. Using Registry Monitor from
Sysinternals however I see a lots of keys "not found". Is there something
you want me to try out before I completely reinstall Visual Studio .NET
2003?

Hello Gabriel,
no, you don't need to do anything with your VS! This problem is actually
a bug
in 238 and 239 for VS 2003 caused by the fact that VS 2003 and VS 2005 seem
to
behave differently with regard to add-in initialization. This error is harmless
and can
be ignored. We will fix it ASAP.
