VSTS Unit Test Support
I couldn't find the Roadmap planned for 3.0. Are there any plans to Support
Team System Unit Testing support in 3.0. Since we moved our Unit Testing to
Team System, we have been missing out on the Resharper Unit Testing
Explorer.
Thanks,
Krishna

Hello Krishna,
There is no plan to support VSTS by ReSharper 3.0, but we hope James Kovac
will update his plugin to ReSharper sometime after we publish new unit testing
API. You can find his plugin here: http://www.jameskovacs.com/blog/IntroducingVstsUnitPluginForReSharper.aspx

Yep, I too hope James updates his addin too - it's a great addition to VSTS.
So James, if you're listening.....
Hello sean,
I just want to note, that it is not right time now to write unit test plugins
for 3.0
We are preparing major update for this subsystem, so I'd suggest waiting
until Unit Test Explorer will be made public.

Hi Ilya, well - if you guys are thinking of integrating the VSTS tests into
R#, that really is great news. This would be a great feature, like David
Stennett was talking about in news://news.jetbrains.com/17391296.1174402024945.JavaMail.itn@is.intellij.net.
Thanks again
Sean
Hello sean,
Not exactly, we will not support VSTS in ReSharper out of the box, at least
for version 3.0. However the whole Unit Testing subsystem is being upgraded.
I will post some details later next week.

Thanks Ilya, look forward to hearing some more details.
Hi Guys,
Anymore info on VSTS support, or how we might write our own with the v3.0 rewrite?

The 3.0 UTE Architectur is more complex than in 2.5. So it tooks longer to
write a Unit Test Runner, 'cause there is no documentation. So there is many
trial & error.
But James seems working on the VSTS PlugIn, as i am working on the MbUnit
PlugIn.
