Linq Support?

Dear Sir,
Does v3.0.2 support linq syntax and extension method?? I have tested it....it won't work.... moreover, it also don't know some keyword of c# 3.0, such as "var" .....
The 3.0.x builds only support C# 2.0, though you can install them for "Orcas". The C# 3.0 language support will be a major feature of 4.0 release. We hope to deliver first EAP bits of ReSharper 4.0 this Fall.

I know a whole lot of developers looking forward to the 3.0 language support. No pressure though....

I am not using Resharper currently because I do so much work with lambdas and extension methods these days. I miss Resharper!

It would be great if R# could leave VS2008 intact (use the original VS intellisense) for C# 3.0 projects but would still work for the older 2.0 projects...

They are no C# 3.0 Projects. Only Projects for specific framework versions.
You can write with C# 3.0 for the .NET 2.0 Framework. Yes, this is a supported feature. LINQ is currently not supported, but possible under 2.0 (SP1).
You can manually switch on the VS Intellisense in the R# Options Dialog.

Wow, that's like programming with mittens on. Personally I would commit murder without ReSharper - I just turn it off when I'm doing LINQ stuff.
Hang in there.

Oww? I didn't know that sorry, now that I look at it Intellisense does
allow C# 3.0 syntax in .NET 2.0 project. Weird.
But you probably do understand what I mean. Depending on which
framework/compiler you're targeting R# could be automatically disabled
or enabled.
To be honest, I didn't have the possibilities yet to work with Orcas
Beta 2 much.
Thanks & Best Regards,
Wiebe Tijsma.

Not wierd.
C# 3.0 is a Programming-Language, .NET 2.0 is a Framework. C#3.0 does not
need a new CLR (Common Language Runtime).
The C# 3.0 (and VB 9.0) features (extension Methods, anonymous objects etc.)
are only "syntactic sugar" ;), LINQ is again syntactic on top of that :)
