I don't think it is a good idea :) We would like early adopters to refresh builds as frequenly, as possible. Bugs and exceptions get fixed pretty fast, so you probably want to refresh at least once a week. We even were thinking about setting evaluation period to one week to enforce this during EAP, but thought that good will is better :)
I update mine on a daily basis, unless there are any known issues listed for that particular day. I really appreciate the R# team making the pre-EAP builds available to us, particularly while there is still time to suggest new features :). Thanks for making that decision!

ReSharper 4 nightly builds is meant to be run using evaluation. We are going
to extend evaluation period once in a while.
