ReSharper help not available in MSDN Library
Hi,
using Build 775 on Vista x64, the ReSharper help does not integrate into the MSDN help collection.
Also running help from Visual Studio 2008 as Administrator and browsing to VSCC does not show the ReSharper help as available.
On Vista 32-bit the same build integrates without any problems automatically.
Any ideas?
regards,
Alex

In my case, R# 4 help only integrates into VS 2005 Help, but not into VS 2008 Help on Windows XP.
Please add your case here: http://jetbrains.net/jira/browse/RSRP-64174
Hello,
There's no support for ReSharper help integration into MSDN 9, so it should
never appear in VS 2008.

Then why does the installer take around 5 minutes merging if I only select
integration into VS2008?
Hello,
It's merged into MSDN 8 in any case.

OK can we not do that if I only integrate into VS2008, or is there a good
reason to always do it?
Hello,
No.
Not yet.
R#3 only officially supported VS 2005, and R#4 has not been released yet.
There's no release build with full-fledged VS9 support, hence no MSDN9 help
integration yet.

It would be such a good thing to get rid of this for the moment.
It's not just the extra 5 minutes on the install (during which I can't use VS), but it's also another 20 minutes of index rebuild (which blocks the relevant IDE instance) the first time you hit F1.
I know the complete craptitude of the MSDN library is not JB's fault, but you don't need to remind your loyal EAPers of it every day.

Exactly; we're not using release builds. So why in the EAP installer, when I
only install into 2008 must it merge help into 2005?
