Parenthese completion 1259.0
In v. 1259.0 when you type the opening parentheses, R# automatically closes
it and places the cursor outside the closed parentheses: new
TradingPosition() _cursor here, instead of new TradingPosition( _cursor
here).
This is completely different to previous behaviour and is driving me nuts.
Is there any way to get it back to the old behaviour?
Thanks
Jeremy

I'm also having this problem... assuming it will be fixed in the next
release or two?

I also saw this behavior in 1259. I believe it was also in 1258 because I had to go back to 1257. I just installed 1260 and it has not been fixed. I'll be going back to 1257 again.
Its still there in 1260

hmm - not quite. I just installed 1262 and even though the cursor is
being placed inside the parenthese the macro-block of my live-template
is no "selected" and thus not being overwritten when I type :(
If I type Style.Setters.Add(new Set{ I expect R# to complete
Setter from "Set" and then provide the closing }. However, I get
Style.Setters.Add(new Se t t er{} note the spaces that get inserted. I
have only noticed it when typing exactly this phrase. Its not the end of the
world though and the behaviour is so much better now that you have
corrected it in 1261.

Hello,
There're a few problems with interaction between Visual Studio's placing
the caret on text changes and our own caret movements. We'll try to catch
as many cases as possible.
