Removing optional parameter

Hi
I have a base class with an optional parameter.
If I remove this parameter, Code Analysis does not pick up on this. I have to clear the cache and restart VS 2010 for Resharper to see the error(s) again.
Its very annoying because I use to R# to see where the potential code changes may be.
