Don't understand this message

i'm working on a Windows Forms VB solution. In the code, the cursor is manipulated the following way:

Why does R# gives this warning? Is this assignment really problematic or is it another false positive message from the analyzer?

Please could you provide the solution demonstrating this problem?  From the given line it is not clear what happens.
