ReSharper 6 aspx/js performance
I've been trying to evaluate ReSharper 6 with a somewhat large website, but
I've been running into performance issues when attempting to edit .aspx
files and .js files within the site. It literally takes about 10 seconds to
type one character, and ReSharper often drops the entire keyboard buffer if
I type ahead while ReSharper is attempting to bring up intellisense. This is
with Visual Studio 2008 and ReSharper 6.0.2122.39 on a fairly beefy
development system. Performance seems to be fairly reasonable with .cs
files.
Wasn't there some instructions available on the site for using DotTrace to
attach to Visual Studio to capture a brief performance snapshot? I thought I
remembered seeing it somewhere, but my Google-fu seems to be lacking today
because I couldn't find the page.

I just figured it out, so I'm uploading a couple of snapshots named
glaw*.dtp. These do not represent the most severe performance issues I've
been seeing, but there are a few spots in both snapshots in which the
keystroke response was more than a few seconds. Assuming this goes well,
both snapshots should finish uploading in about an hour or so.

Hello Greg,
Thank you for the snapshot! I've assigned a problem for the corresponding
developer: http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/RSRP-248096.
