extremely slow "Analysis in progress"
I've got a rather large UI class ( lots of controls, etc ) that I've
inherited. Whenever I try to load the .cs, the helper bar on the right side
of the edit window has a gray box with an arrow in it for a long (I'm
talking minutes), after which it changes color. If I try in ANYTHING into
the class ( like hitting enter twice ). The editor becomes incredibly slow,
and the helper bar's icon goes back to grey.
Is there some way to modify the sensitivity of this ? I thought R# 2005 had
had this issue with taking over 100% of cpu resolved ?

Try switching code analysis off (Ctrl + 8). Unfortunately, this cannot be
done on forehand (request filed and it has been implemented for 3.0 or 2.5)
In my current project, I also have some files that I cannot open anymore, or
be stuck for some minutes.
Regards,
Erwin
