Build 258 Problems
OK here are a list of major problems that I've come across that are still in build 258. Public properties in user controls (ascx) get "cannot resolve symbol" errors when you referr to them in a asp page (aspx.cs backend file). Microsoft intellisense recognizes it fine and the code builds and works. Resharper is just screwing up here (and has been since I purchased it a month or so ago).
Intellisense collision with Microsoft is back. They keep fighting, and when the resharper intellisense shows and the micorsoft one doesn't, you still have to hit escape to navigate the intellisense list using the arrow keys (it appears that the microsoft one is still colliding even when it is not showing).
When you create a template, it appears that it still doesn't create the proper extension of the file once you type in the name. The workaround is to type the name of the file you want the template to create, and add the extension to the name (.cs, .vb, etc...).
Hopefully you guys can get a hold of these problems soon... They're really annoying =(.

Same problems continue to exist in build 259 which is supposed to be RC2 (eek).
Well, I have just tried your three problems and I don't get anything other than the correct behaviour. Not much help to you, I know, but this is evidently not a globally experienced bug.
I am using build 259, VS2005, en-gb locale.
I have previously experienced the problem of public properties not being recognised on ASP.NET user controls as you describe but, for me at least, that behaviour has gone away.
The same also for the VS/R# intellisense battle. VERY frustrating.

That went after some magic combintation of downgrading R#, upgrading R#, completely uninstallig R#, deleting all the R# cache directories, rebooting the PC, installing R#. After a lot of frustration R# got back to doing intellisense properly and VS no longer gets in the way.
As for the template problem, I have never used these before, but a quick test with the class template, entering Foo, resulted in a class called Foo that was placed in a file called Foo.cs. So, good or bad depending on which side of the fence you are, I am not experiencing this problem either.
As a long time user of R#, my best suggestion to the quirky behaviour you are seeing is to completely uninstall and remove all traces of R#, reboot, install, reboot and see what happens - although, I believe that this appproach has not worked for some.
I hope you can find a combination that fixes the problem for you.
Have you reported these in the tracker? http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/RSRP
Thanks James for the extensive post. I have tried installing Build 259, along with a clean copy of my solution on a different and clean machine. Same problems, although the intellisense problems seem to have been solved. Properties of my user controls, however, seem to still not work. I continue to get random exceptions thrown, and sometimes the whole thing bogs down to the point of unusability. I use 1.5 at my work and I LOVE it. It's fast and does the job. Maybe in a couple months we'll finally get a release version that actually works like 1.5. I wish they would just make 1.5 work with VS2005 and I would be a happy code monkey Seeing as how I have no time to make a sample project, they seem to not be able to reproduce the problem, and now that build 259 became the "release" version, it looks like i'm SOL (sigh). Damn resharper is like a nerd's narcotic. Even though it doesn't fully work, you kinda can't program without it. BAH!
Waiting for build 500...
Hello modena,
have you submitted the exceptions to the bug tracker? If yes, could you please
post their IDs here? Alternatively,
if they are repeatable, you can post the stack traces in the reply to this
message. Thanks.

Could You send us sample solution, that illustrates the problem?

Unfortunately I moved jobs so I don't have that example in front of me anymore :(
But, I will say that it was spotty. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn't. I am sorry I cannot be of more assistance, although I will say, I don't have it now, but that is because I am not using VS.net anymore (thank god ;)).
