Update on XAML performance issues?
Hi, do we have any updates on progress with XAML performance issues? This thread suggested you guys had found some problems that would be out in 5.1.1, any ideas when that might be out?
It really is getting very frustrating. I've now got enable / disable R# set to a short cut and have to keep turning it on and off.

Hello Geoff,
Which version/build of ReSharper are you currently using? Have you tried
the latest build from http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/ReSharper5.1.1Bugfix+Builds?
Thank you!

Ah nice thanks! I didn't realise that the nightly builds were still available (the link isn't there on the download page anymore). I'll give that a go this pm :)
Unfortunately the XAML performance is as bad as ever. Though it seems particularly bad now when opening a XAML file rather than randomly occurring. I've done a trace for you. All I did during the trace was open a XAML file (the default UserControl created by VS, so nothing big). It froze for about a minute, not letting me move the cursor in the code window. The I get a single update (moves the cursor to somewhere I clicked) then freezes for another few seconds. After that it is usable for a while.
I'm uploading the profile now to "profile 3.zip" to the intellj ftp server.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do, this XAML thing is a real pain...
Hello Geoff,
Thank you very much for capturing a snapshot! Supposedly we've fixed this
problem, so please try the next bugfix build when it comes out and let me
know if it works better.

Awesome! Build 1742 is looking really good - am getting the same performance editing XAML as I was with C# :-) This makes me very happy!
