How to change the appearance of the parentheses mismatch indicator?

ReSharper (5.1, VB, VS2008) marks a mismatching parenthesis by a red block marker. This makes the normal text cursor hard to see. It looks like a pending delete - thus leading me to delete the next char (the newline when at end of line) instead of the previous one (the parenthesis).

Is there a way to change the appearance (color) of the parentheses mismatch indicator?

If not, I would recommend a lighter color, or something like an unfilled rectangle instead of the block.
