Resharper 6 performance note

Hello Paul,

Thank you very much for feedback! We've already received several reports
about File Structure causing performance problems. However, it would be great
if you could capture a performance snapshot by following the instructions
at http://tinyurl.com/6xgxpw5 and upload it to ftp://ftp.intellij.net/.uploads/,
so that we could confirm that this is a known problem and not something new.

Greetings all,

I don't know if this is common knowledge already, but I thought I'd
point it out anyway:  It seems that the majority of the performance
issue with Resharper 6 is the fault of the File Structure window.
Closing this window and restarting VS results in a massive performance
boost.  It's still laggier than I'd like, but it no longer feels like
dragging fifty ton weight around at least.  I hope the Resharper team
can fix this, as this window is fairly critical...

Everything else feels slightly sluggish, but adding, saving and closing files in the App_Code folder takes upwards of 40 seconds, with my dual-core processor pegged at 70-90% the whole time.

Do I understand correctly that as soon as you suspend ReSharper saving files
in App_Code folder becomes fast? Do you have any antivirus software installed?

Correct - with R# suspended, saving files in App_Code takes less than a second. Resuming R# takes ~30 seconds, and then adding, modifying or saving files in App_Code slows to a crawl again.

I have Sophos Endpoint security and control v9.7.5 installed.
