When typing in the code window, all typing is almost precisely 2 to 3 seconds lagged. That is, when I begin to type, it takes about 2 to 3 seconds per keystroke to begin showing up.
Intellisense takes longer than usual to appear ( around four times as long ) and takes about that much longer to refresh the window as it tries to scroll. It typically does not select the appropriate item in the list box because of this.
Syntax highlighting is not instantaneous, most files are usually all black until I am no longer typing, after that, it takes about fifteen to twenty seconds to show up highlighted. Tooltips lag things even more. All in all it takes me about a minute per line to write anything.
This occurs with every file now, regardless of size and references.

Well. At first I thought it was the RC1 and RC2 of Windows XP Service Pack 2, so I tried to uninstall those and that changed nothing. I assumed that maybe an uninstall wouldn't fix it, so I reinstalled Resharper, did nothing. So then I took it to work with me, where I do not have SP2 and tried build 88 today, and I still experience this lag.
Both machines are P4 at 3.2 GHz with Hyperthreading and 1 GB of RAM. There shouldn't be a performance issue ..

Sadly to say I am the only developer in my company. This is an Air-Conditioning Business, and I'm the boss's son, hired to write a very specialized program for their equipment. I 'am' the IT department...... I do have that regioning Add-In that was shown in another post today in one of the requests. But this was also happening at home, and I don't have that plug in at home....

Well. At first I thought it was the RC1 and RC2 of Windows XP Service Pack
2, so I tried to uninstall those and that changed nothing. I assumed that
maybe an uninstall wouldn't fix it, so I reinstalled Resharper, did nothing.
So then I took it to work with me, where I do not have SP2 and tried build
88 today, and I still experience this lag.
Both machines are P4 at 3.2 GHz with Hyperthreading and 1 GB of RAM. There
shouldn't be a performance issue ..
