Resharper 2.0 Timeline?
As a long-time R# user on VS2003 and as someone who has now moved to Whidbey
Beta 2, I'm desparately missing the features that R# provided for me.
Is there any information that you can share regarding a timeline for Resharper
2.0? Any ideas on when the EAP will start?
With the new "go-live" license, I say go now! :)

I promised EAP for the version 2.0 in about a month some time ago but now
I think it will be a bit later. I think in the middle of May. But out current
version targets VS 2003. It should be quite easy to port it to VS 2005 but
we gave up trying that because of VS2005 instability. Now when Beta 2 is
out we will try again. So the EAP version for VS 2005 may appear a bit later
than the intial EAP for VS 2003.

We do our best. We are now in process to switching our own development to
use of the new ReSharper (now still under VS2003, switching to VS2005 is
the next step).

I have to say Resharper is the best productivity tool,
I've ever seen (since Turbo Pascal 3...)
Now I installed a test machine with VS 2005 beta 2.
I can't live without ReSharper..., I really miss it, maybe
I became a ReSharper addict...
But I do not think that it is an easy port as you wrote :(
- First of all, you have to combat with a beta... you wrote it too.
- Big change: the parser and internal syntax tree must be upgraded to
C# 2.0 (with generics, partial classes, (and dozen minor syntax gizmos))
- Services must be added for example typing MyList< must open an
inteligent type choosing combo, according the type constraint coded in
MyList generic.
Can we know any details about VS 2005 version and the state of
development?

We have already implemented that.
We will add such little feature as we (and you!) will start to really use
ReSharper for coding in C# 2.0.
As I already said, we have paused development of the integration with VS2005
until more stable version is out. Now when Beta 2 is out we are going to
try again. But at first we are going to switch our own development to use
of the new ReSharper (under VS2003).

We are working on that. There are currently 17 SCRs in the Tracker marked
for "2.0 EAP" version. We will launch EAP as soon as there is zero of them.

Are you sure? I see that rather unfortunately there's still 17 open issues.
Forgive my ignorance, but can you post the url you used to query the 2.0
line? I couldn't seem to get it and I also saw a quite a few 2.0 incidents,
but they were all fixed.
