Installations failing since about 206 I think

Yep, installing second time round was fine!

I am not sure if it is related, but I am losing all my settings for things
like the number of blank lines in-between classes and whether to have spaces
before brackets!

I think ever since 206 every time i upgrade Resharper (VS2003) the
whole process goes all the way through to the final 'registration of
components' in a dos window and it fails (some exception that doesn't
stay on the screen long enough) and rolls back - with the second
attempt working fine!(presumably the difference is the uninstall that
doesn't happen the second time).

So it just happened with 209 and I haven't 'closed' the msi instance
yet - looking around for logs I find:

MSI9a03f.LOG with:
Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A
program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact
your support personnel or package vendor. Action
