[215] Unable to set color for Unused Identifier
There is no setting that affects the color of unused identifiers, so it is defaulting to black on white. As I use a black background with colors assigned for most items, this results in very ugly code as I start a new class.

actually there is such as a setting - ReSharper Dead Code. It stands for
any unused code, including redundant variables.

Ok, I have ReSharper Dead Code set to Silver on Navy. In the code window, all "Dead Code" is displayed as Black on White. See attached screen shot.

if you're using VS 2005, there is a bug in it which prevents colors from
displaying properly. Please
