VS2005 hangs with Delay Notification

Since 218, VS2005 hangs occasionally after creating a new class for a
solution's project. All I'm getting is a VS2005 "Delay Notification"
dialog that informs me that VS is waiting "for an operation" to
complete. Unfortunately, this never happens ;)

All I can do is shut down VS and restart it. By this time, the new class
has been created, but not included in the project (project file could
not be saved because of shutdown).

Is this related to RS?
