[RC1] Error code if VS2K5 is not installed
This is after it successfully detected that VS2K5 was not installed and
after clicking on the "Finish" button on the last screen.

I guess the problem is that ReSharper shouldn't attempt to install it all
if it didn't find VS installed,
and the error message should clearly describe this problem.

There is nothing wrong with the description but look at the attached
screens. As a user you don't expect screens like screen2.jpg and
screen5.jpg. Instead if Visual Studio 2005 is not installed it should jump
directly to screen3.jpg and then screen4.jpg.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that when installing the add-in for Visual
Studio .NET 2003 the screens are well okay when Visual Studio .NET 2003 is
not installed.

this is actually what I said, perhaps I wasn't clear. The user shouldn't
see the error message - that message
is merely a consequence of a specific installer organization: the installer
consists of a standalone program that
launches two nested installations, for the hotfix and for the main product.
The problematic message is displayed
by the outer program that has no idea that the installation of the main product
(that displayes the last page 'setup
has been interrupted) has failed just because of VS not installed on the
machine.

yes, because for VS 2003 there is no hotfix and there is no need in the outer
installer - see another
