These are nightly builds, there may be some work in progress, some which just don't work yet, or work in some bizarre way. This specific icon in status bar is "work in progress" for solution wide error analysis. Please, be patient about nightly builds, or use EAP builds, which are usually more stable.

Sorry, I was just curious about the direction this feature was moving, that's all. I did notice the beanie reverse spin direction when I clicked it, and it had a context menu as well. The red X did nothing either way and when I switched to another project I accumulated more Xs. It seemed apparent that nothing was happening with these icons in these two nightly builds. I will continue to use the nightly builds so the exceptions I accrue may possibly help.
