Beta RC Build 804 - Odd behaviour
Before opening anything other than small solutions I have to disable RS,
open the solution and the re-enable RS otherwise VS2005 just hangs. The
VS is waiting on an internal operation icon appears on the taskbar - the
longest I have waited before killing devenv.exe is around 30 minutes.

Hello Mike,
Could you please take a thread dump of the hanged Visual Studio (taken
with any managed debugger) and post it here?

I have now removed 804 and installed the published Beta and receive an
error when VS2005 starts up
ReSharper Fatal Error
JetBrains ReSharper 4 add-in could not load the supplementart
package 0c6e6407-13fc-4878-869a-c8b4016c57fe.
It is recommended that you repair the product installation.
Repairingmakes no difference, so I'm going back to the 804 nightly build
as at least I know how to work around the problem I was having with that
build.
Uninstalled, cleaned the registry and re-installed 804 but to no avail.

Oleg
Could not get anything out of a thread dump. However with some
experimentation I have discovered that if I disable CodeRush/Refactor
AND NOT Resharper then again there is no problem (or vice versa). It is
starting to look as if there is an unpleasant interaction between the
two products.
I am running version 3.0.8 of the DxCore and it's siblings.
