ReSharper Version 5 - Beta 2 - VS2008 SP2 - International Settiings?
Hi Guys,
Have just noticed that after installing Beta 2 into VS2008 SP2, the
Date format inside VS2008 has changed to US format ie. mm/dd/yyyy. I'm
running in the UK with a UK format set in Windows ie. dd/mm/yyyy
De-installing ReSharper fixes the problem VS2008 reverts to UK dates.
Re-installing Beta 2 resets dates to US format. Most annoying!
Any thoughts?
John

Hello,
What's the setting at Tools | Options | Environment | International Settings?
PS Where to look for any date strings in Visual Studio? Cannot remember any
out of my head .

Hi Serge,
International Settings are set to "Same as Microsoft Windows"
I first noticed the problem when using a SpreadsheetGear control in the
designer. The spreadsheet has lots of dates in it, prior to installing
5.0 these were in UK format dd/mm/yy, with 5.0 installed they change to
mm/dd/yy. I then dropped a DateTimePicker on the form and that shows
the dates in US format with 5.0 installed. If you de-install 5.0, they
revert to UK format. If you install 4.5 they are in UK format.
Hope this helps.
John
