it seems that there is a bug in VS 2005 beta 2 that prevents ReSharper UI from deleting correctly. You can remove ReSharper's menu by deleting the corresponding menu item via Tools|Customize. As an alternative, you can reset you settings (Tools|Import and Export settings) which also causes the invalid menu item to disappear.

I'm testing RS v2.0 build 202 too. All problems presents in build 201 are present yet. When uninstall RS, uninstall Resharper v1.5.1 build 164. Problems with format strings, etc. Windows showed when VSNET starts and when a project is opened.
Unestable version. The best choice that must to do is wait for a final release and that the development team, implements a hard test.

Sorry for my previous post. Here is a new post more elaborate.
1.- The setup file will must to verify the existence for a previous version installed. Not warnings for a overwrite or uninstall for the previous release.
2.- The installation process take its time!
3.- The Error 1722 "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expecte.Contact your support personnel or package vendor " window is displayed. A rollback operation is fired. In this process, my previous version 1.5 is removed (all directory). Note that the previous release was installed in the c:\Program files\JetBrain\Resharper and the new release in c:\Program files\JetBrain\Resharper\vs2003 directories respectively.
4.- The installation process is restarted. This time the process is successfuly performed.: The InstallShield Wizard has successfully installed JetBrains ReSharper for Visual Studi2003 . Click Finish to exit the wizard.
5.- Stars VS2003.The icon for Resharper is showed in the Splash screen.
6.- The first error window is showed... the follow error is displayed (See attached file):
This snag window is showed 53 times! before that vsnet 2003 become started..
7.- If the Reset shortcuts command is clicked (in the Resharper options window) the same window and error are displayed.
8.- If a project is opened, the vsnet 2003 "hangs". The colors and shortcuts are not availables.
Sorry for my previous post. Here is a new post more elaborate.
1.- The setup file will must to verify the existence for a previous version installed. Not warnings for a overwrite or uninstall for the previous release.
Actually, it warns you if you upgrade to a newer build of the 2.0 version. May be it does not work if you upgrade from 1.5, we'll check that.
2.- The installation process take its time!
Yes, unfortunately, this is a known problem. It is integrating help into MSDN collection that takes a while. Perhaps we'll remove these actions from the installer, as ReSharper 2.0 does not currently have help anyway, and restore them in the release version.
3.- The Error 1722 "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expecte.Contact your support personnel or package vendor " window is displayed. If you upgrade from 1.5 to 2.0, 1.5 should be removed completely before installing 2.0 So I don't quite understand what you mean when you tell 'my previous version 1.5 is removed (all directory)' - actually it had to be removed prior to even starting to install 2.0.
4.- The installation process is restarted. This time the process is successfuly performed.: The InstallShield Wizard has successfully installed JetBrains ReSharper for Visual Studi2003 . Click Finish to exit the wizard.
That's fine!
5.- Stars VS2003.The icon for Resharper is showed in the Splash screen.
OK.
6.- The first error window is showed... the follow error is displayed (See attached file):
This snag window is showed 53 times! before that vsnet 2003 become started..
I suspect this problem may be related to you're using a localised version of VS (presumably Spanish). Please tell us what version of VS you've tried to run ReSharper on.
7.- If the Reset shortcuts command is clicked (in the Resharper options window) the same window and error are displayed.
That's expected, since 'Reset shortcuts' button does the same things as happen when you launch VS with ReSharper.
8.- If a project is opened, the vsnet 2003 "hangs". The colors and shortcuts are not availables.
Please tell us more about this. What does it mean 'hangs' - is VS unresponsible? Does it get responsible after some time? What do you mean 'colors are not available'?
NOTE: I'm missing say that this issues were performed using the last build 203 of Resharper v2.0.

+Ok, Uninstall a previous version is "assumed" by default when you install a new version for a product, but like no warnings are displayed, i contemplate that no problems will be fired.+

+I'm using an English version of VSNET 2003 with NetFramwork 1.1 SP1 running in a pc with Windows XP Pro Spanish MX with SP2 installed, P4, 512 MB RAM, 16 GB free space in HD.+
>>VSNET "Hangs" some time?. What do you mean 'colors are not available'?
+Ok.. VSNET is stable or responding after aprox. 2 minutes. With respect to the color, check the attached file 'colorsaremissing.png'. Check the rose color, when the color must be green.+
Looks that the most interesting and serious problem is the exceptions you get on VS startup. It would be nice if you submit a stack trace of such an exception (by copy/pasting it from the ReSharper error reporting form) here.
NOTE: I'm missing say that this issues were performed using the last build 203 of Resharper v2.0.

Hi,
could you please elaborate more on the problems you've experienced? You message
obviously touches many of them, but their descriptions are too concise for
us to
understand them completely.
Thanks in advance.
