How to stop syntax checking in R#5?

What is the keyboard shortcut to stop background error checking in R#5?  It used to be ctrl-8 which is remapped to a bookmark. I opened a very large cs file and VS 2008 is so slow to be responsive because R# is doing all the syntax checking on thousands of lines.I also have an usaved tab and I hope this thing doesn't crash. This is an annoying issue with R#.


How about a setting in R# where if a source file is larger than x lines of code or file size R# ignores syntax checking?
