4.5: how can I avoid reinstalls for colors?

Every so often without any pattern I lose the reshaper color settings in options and have to reinstall resharper. I have to reinstall again tonight and it is a bad interruption. The brace matching color is again unusable, is has wandered away from where I set it, it will not stay set. The resharper color highlighting settings are once again not available in options. Is there any way to fix this?
