Extracted block has exits to different points

I am refactoring some code I was given and tried to extract a block and I got the message "Extracted block has exits to different points, do yo want to continue"?  

I selected yes, extracted the code and it seems to run ok, but this message worries me that something in the future may not work when I hit a different code path.
