Refactoring a 64bit VB.NET application while debugging in VisualStudio2017 does not work

VisualStudio supports Edit and Continue for the the debugging of 64bit application since 2013.

When I try to refactor a variable name with Resharper while debugging my 64bit VB.Net application I get following error message:

=> Is there a resharper setting to allow for that modification?

=> If not, are there plans to support it?

=> If not, would it work with C#?

Thank you for the feedback.

We could reproduce this behavior only for VB and only 64 bit application.
