Resharper Build Error with MSBuild task

Adding something like the following

 

<MSBuild Projects="$(MSBuildProjectFile)" Targets="TestTarget"  />

 

breaks the Resharper build with the following error:

Currently running Resharper 2017.2, but it seems to also occur in previous versions.

Cannot reproduce it using ReSharer 2017.2.1.

Could you please provide some sample project inroducing the issue?
