2016.3 Does not show problems after ~7000 lines

As the title suggests issues are not shown in the document or scrollbar in VS 2015 with R# 2016.3 when the file is large. seems to stop parsing at around 7000 lines. Is there a configuration that I need to change? I am upgrading from 10.0.2 and didn't have this problem with that version.
