I'm running into the same behavior. Using R# 6.1.1000.82.Did this post ever make it into a bug report?

The problem still exists in build 7.1.8.128. I suppose you didn't have time yet to dive into the problem.For the incorect suggestion on removing String.Format, I've created a bug report.

I don't have the problem with ObjectDataSource anymore using EAP build 7.1.16.12.

I suppose you mean the result of comparing a ValueType with null is always false?That's why I already tried to check first if it's not a ValueType. I would've hoped the code analyzer is smart enoug...
