With ReSharper 2018.1, the trick, described by Alexander does not work anymore, unfortunately :-( I'm now unable to use the "Remove and Sort Usings on Save" feature. Any new fix for this?

After applying Alexanders fix again, and restarting VS, the issue seems to be gone.   Thanks for your reply, Angelina!

I solved it by: completely uninstalling ReSharper Rebooting my system Fresh-installing ReSharper After that, it shows up in VS 2013, too.
