I was dragging it but I didn't to do this every time the assistant opens. It's working now and it seems VS remembers to open it on the right side. Thanks.

The ‘Multiline method signature’ setting worked. I will create a feature request for the = sign as it seems there's no way to have the variable names aligned without also aligning the = sign.Thanks.
