No, it doesn't happen in a new project. In fact, after poking around, it doesn't happen with all .js or .cshtml files. Only some. Though there doesn't appear to be a pattern as to why. I only have ...

So disabled 'JavaScript and TypeScript' in the 'Products & Features' stops it. But why does it happen?

It only seems to be doing this for files that contain Javascript. (.js, .cshtml) When editing all other files it does not autosave.
