Can't activate Resharper 2022.2.4 with 2FA

I have been working with ReSharper for months. The recent enforcement of 2FA caused my ReSharper to be deactivated, asking for setting the 2FA up. I have been following instructions:

1. Scanned the QR code and created the account in my authenticator app.

2. Logged in to my JetBrains Account.

3. Provided the 6 digit code.

4. Got redirected to https://localhost:62345/?code=....

5. Redirect failed:

This site can’t provide a secure connection

localhost sent an invalid response.

  • Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
 
I have tried to re-run the procedure several times, with no luck. I even restarted my computer, with no luck.
How can I continue using ReSharper?

Do you use any proxy-server?
Have you tried to use another browser?

I do not use any proxy.

I have tried pasting the URL to Firefox & Edge - no luck.

thank you for the answer.

Please try this workaround:

Open https://account.jetbrains.com/licenses in a browser.
Log it to the page using your JetBrains account.
Click on the “Download activation code for offline usage” link for the ReSharper license.
Use this downloaded file to activate ReSharper.
